How these double monk strap shoes fit

The forepart is refined and elongated, with a softened toe. A monk strap fastens with a buckle, which gives a small amount of adjustment over the instep: more than a loafer, less than laces. When the shoe is new the strap should fasten on a middle hole, so you have room to tighten it as the leather settles. If it only closes on the last hole, you need a wider width. Order your usual US dress shoe size, which is often different from your sneaker size.
