For most made-to-order pairs, including finishing and final quality checks.
Typical courier transit after the pair has been completed and dispatched.
Handsole can ship internationally to customers across major global markets.
If fit is the problem, our Fit Promise explains the next step before you are left guessing.
How long does an order really take?
For a made-to-order pair, think of your order as two separate stages: making and delivery.
Your order is confirmed
We review the design, size, width and any fit information attached to the order.
Your pair is made
Most made-to-order pairs require approximately 7–10 working days to make, finish and quality-check.
Your pair is dispatched
Once packed and handed to the courier, tracking becomes available.
Delivery
Courier transit is typically approximately 5–7 days after dispatch.
7–10 working days is the making window, not the complete door-to-door delivery time. Courier transit begins after dispatch.
Your pair is being made, not pulled from a warehouse.
The making window exists because Handsole footwear goes through sequential craft stages. Some stages cannot be rushed without affecting finish or construction.
“Why hasn’t it shipped after two days?”
If your size is not already finished, the pair first has to go through production. Shipping starts only after the pair is complete.
“Does 7–10 days include delivery?”
No. It refers to the typical production window for a made-to-order pair. Delivery time is added after dispatch.
“Can you rush the making process?”
If you have a deadline, contact us before ordering. We can tell you what is realistic rather than promise a date the workshop cannot responsibly meet.
“What if my pair is already finished?”
A finished pair available in your size may bypass most of the production window and can be prepared for dispatch sooner.
What happens when my pair is ready?
Once the pair has passed final checks, it is packed for shipment and handed to the courier.
At that point, the order moves from production to transit. Typical delivery is approximately 5–7 days after dispatch, but the actual arrival date can vary by destination, courier routing, customs processing and local conditions.
If you have not received tracking yet, the pair may still be in production or waiting for courier handoff. Tracking is not evidence that making has started; it is evidence that shipping has started.
Do you ship to my country?
Handsole ships worldwide.
International delivery means the package may move through more than one carrier network and may be reviewed by local customs. The 5–7 day delivery estimate is a typical courier window after dispatch, not a guarantee against customs or local carrier delays.
Customs & import processing
Some countries may hold a parcel for import review. Local customs timing is outside the workshop's control.
Duties & local charges
Import taxes, duties or handling charges can depend on the destination country's rules. Check local requirements if this is a concern before ordering.
Where is my order?
Once your order is dispatched, use the tracking information provided with your shipment to follow its progress.
If tracking has not updated for an unusual period, contact Handsole with your order number. We can help determine whether the package is in normal transit, awaiting customs processing, or needs courier follow-up.
Your order number, destination country and the tracking status you can currently see. That lets us investigate faster.
What if my order is late?
A delay can happen in production or after dispatch. The first step is identifying which stage the order is in.
Still being made
Craft stages, drying, finishing, fit review or quality correction can occasionally extend production. We would rather correct a problem before dispatch than send a pair we know is not ready.
Already dispatched
Courier network disruption, weather, customs or local delivery conditions can extend transit beyond the typical 5–7 day window.
If you need the shoes for a wedding, trip, event or fixed date, contact us before ordering. We can tell you whether the timing is realistic.
Wrong address, wrong size, or a change after ordering?
Contact us as soon as you notice the issue.
Address, size, width or design changes are much easier to deal with before production reaches the affected stage or before the parcel is handed to the courier. Once work is underway, some changes may no longer be practical without restarting part of the order.
If you entered the wrong size, width or shipping address, send your order number and the correction immediately.
