Product Story
A full brogue wingtip in three colours
This pair is not meant to be quiet. A full wingtip already has more seams than any other pattern: a toe cap that sweeps back along both sides, a medallion punched into the toe and perforations along every edge. Here those panels are cut from three leathers, navy, cream and rust, so the construction lines become the colour scheme. Every seam joins two colours, which means every seam has to be exact, and the cream panels have to be kept clean through the whole of making. The upper is aniline leather with a low stacked heel and a rubber top lift. The braided line above the sole is the Norwegian-style welt, stitched on the outside of the shoe. Navy carries the toe and heel, cream fills the vamp and rust marks the wings, so each part of the brogue pattern has its own colour.

The toe is a rounded dress shape and the heel is a low stacked heel. The pair is hand-welted in the Norwegian style, with the welt turned outward and stitched on the outside of the shoe, and it can be resoled.
