Navy, Cream & Red Full Brogue Wingtip Derby in Full-Grain Leather
Tri-color wingtip Derby · Full brogue · Norwegian welt
Make a statement that's impossible to ignore. These men's tri-color wingtip Derby shoes bring together three bold colours: deep navy at the quarters and heel, clean cream at the vamp, and striking red across the wingtip and medallion toe, all in hand-painted full-grain cow crust leather. Every pair is made to order in our workshop, one pair at a time, and hand-welted on a Norwegian welt.
Round toe last with a generous toe box — this shape defines the shoe's toe profile and internal volume. Choose any listed size and width for this design; we make the pair to your selected configuration.

The rounded toe gives the forefoot room and the open lacing adjusts over the instep. Try them with the socks you plan to wear; a new leather sole is smooth for the first few wears.

Last & Fit
How these men's tri-color wingtip Derby shoes fit
The round toe last gives a generous toe box, so the forefoot has room even though the long wingtip makes the shoe look slim. Derby lacing opens on top of the vamp, adjusting over the instep more than an Oxford and suiting a high instep or a broad foot. The hand-painted full-grain cow crust leather softens and shapes to your foot over the first few wears.
Order your usual US dress shoe size. We make these men's tri-color wingtip Derby shoes in US 6 to 15 with half sizes, so large sizes 13, 14 and 15 are cut like any other, and in D (standard), E (wide), EE (extra wide) and EEE widths. For a wide foot, go up in width, not length. Unsure of your size? Message us and we'll guide you to the right fit.

Three colours, one full brogue pattern. Red carries the wingtip, which comes to a point at the toe and sweeps back along both sides with a medallion punched into the toe; cream fills the vamp and tongue; navy wraps the quarters and heel. Perforations trace every panel edge, so tri color brogue shoes like these have far more pieces to cut, match and close than a plain shoe, and the cream has to stay spotless through every stage of making. The upper is hand-painted full-grain cow crust leather, lined in anti-bacterial, sweat-absorbing red goat leather over a quilted, padded insole. Underneath sit a burnished vegetable-tan leather sole and a 1-inch stacked leather heel with a rubber heel top, and the hand stitching you can see along the welt edge is the Norwegian welt: it locks the upper to the sole and means these wingtip brogue shoes for men can be resoled for years.
Hand-painted full-grain cow crust leather · Full brogue wingtip · Norwegian welt
These are statement shoes for days that call for personality. They make standout wedding shoes for the groom and memorable groomsmen shoes, and they suit garden parties, jazz evenings, date nights and smart casual or business casual settings where individuality is welcome. Contrast brogues like these are often called spectator shoes, and as spectator Derby shoes they look best when the rest of the outfit is simple: navy or stone tailoring, cream or grey trousers, or chinos with a linen jacket. For formal business tailoring or black tie, choose a plain black Derby or Oxford. Because a Derby's open lacing sits on top of the vamp, these full brogue Derby shoes are a little more relaxed than a wingtip Oxford. They're the boldest pair among our Derby shoes for men; for something quieter, see the black plain toe Derby, or browse all our handmade leather shoes for men.

Common questions about tri-color wingtip Derby shoes
Three separate details. Derby is the lacing: the eyelet panels are sewn on top of the vamp and open wide, as explained in Oxford vs Derby shoes. Wingtip is the wing-shaped panel that comes to a point at the toe and sweeps back along both sides. Full brogue means that wingtip also has a medallion punched into the toe and perforations along every edge; see brogue shoes explained. Brogues can have Oxford or Derby lacing, and this pair is a Derby.
They're spectator-inspired. Classic spectators are two-tone, a dark leather against a pale one; this pair uses three colours, navy, cream and red, on a full brogue wingtip. They're worn the same way: at weddings, garden parties and summer events, rather than in a formal office.
Yes. A closed-back, lace-up Derby in three colours stands out in wedding photos while staying a proper leather dress shoe, so they work for the groom or as matching groomsmen shoes; each pair is made to order in its wearer's own size and width. Pair them with navy, grey or stone suits and keep ties and pocket squares simple. More in men's shoes for a wedding.
Order your usual US dress shoe size. We make sizes 6 to 15 including half sizes, in D (standard), E (wide), EE (extra wide) and EEE. Choose your width from your measurements first. Check forefoot comfort and instep hold; the lacing gap is a secondary clue, not a rule for changing width. Message us if you're unsure. If the pair doesn't fit, we remake it free.
Wipe them with a soft dry cloth after each wear and keep them on cedar shoe trees. Every 4–6 weeks, use a neutral conditioner or cream, or a matching cream on each panel, so the red and navy don't stain the cream; test any product on a hidden spot first. Avoid long exposure to water and direct sunlight. See neutral vs coloured shoe cream.
Yes. Norwegian welt shoes like these are hand-welted, so the sole is stitched on rather than glued, and a cobbler can take off the worn leather sole and fit a new one; see when to resole leather shoes. The stacked leather heel can be rebuilt as well.
