Brown lizard-pattern leather · Wholecut vamp without decorative hardware · refined elongated almond forepart
A brown lizard-pattern wholecut loafer with an elongated almond-shaped front and an uninterrupted vamp. Larger scales define the central upper, transitioning into smaller closely spaced texture along the sides. Brown highlights and darker edges give the pattern depth, while warm sole edging and a layered heel reinforce the leather's color. The raised tongue creates a clean slip-on line without a saddle, tassel or buckle.

Fit Confidence
⊞
Aim for a secure heel and comfortable contact across the instep, with room for the toes behind the decorative front. Do not size down to remove the loafer's visual length. Use the Fit Guide if your feet are low in volume, high through the instep or between sizes.

Last & Fit
An elongated almond toe carries the scale pattern forward
The forepart narrows gradually toward an almond-shaped toe, giving the continuous upper a longer visual line. The raised vamp sits over the instep and the closed heel provides rear support. The visible taper is a silhouette description rather than proof of measured internal width or toe volume.

The design gives a scale-pattern leather surface a continuous canvas. Its wholecut vamp allows the larger central scales and smaller side texture to transition without a penny strap or tassel dividing them. Brown tonal changes add depth while the elongated almond front keeps the outline refined.
Wholecut Loafer · Brown Lizard-Pattern · refined elongated almond forepart
A warm sole edge and layered heel make the patterned upper feel connected to the lower shoe, rather than an isolated decorative panel. It works as an individual accent within navy or charcoal tailoring and can also sit with dark denim. Lizard-pattern describes the photographed texture; genuine lizard skin is not established by the images.

Common questions
Use the size guide for US sizing, width and last guidance. If you are between sizes or unsure about width/last, compare your measurements with the product fit notes or contact Handsole before production. Break-in varies by the specific upper, lining, sole, construction and fit.
If the fit needs attention, contact us under the Fit Promise so we can review the issue and the available remake, adjustment or return option for that order.
Break-in varies by leather, lining, last and fit. A correctly sized pair should feel secure rather than painfully tight; the leather and insole will gradually conform with wear.
Construction details for this product are listed in the Materials & Construction section above. Where the build is resoleable, the upper can be retained while a worn sole is replaced when the pair remains serviceable.
Choose from the widths offered above. If you need unusual forefoot or instep room, have different left/right measurements, or repeatedly struggle with fit, review the Sizing & Fit guide or contact us before production so we can compare the available last/width options or a custom adjustment.
Remove loose dust with a soft brush or clean cloth. Follow the care instructions for the specific leather and finish; suede, patent, patina and two-tone uppers may need different products. Test any suitable cleaner, cream or conditioner on an inconspicuous area first, and use separate clean applicators on contrasting colours. Condition only when the leather and finish need it, rather than on a fixed schedule. Let damp shoes dry naturally away from direct heat. Contact Handsole before attempting recolouring or using a treatment whose compatibility is uncertain.
