A raised vamp with a decorative horsebit

The gently tapered almond toe and tall vamp define this horsebit mule. The metal bit does not adjust the fit. Check for comfortable contact over the instep and enough space across the forefoot; your heel should rest fully on the footbed. A patterned upper does not imply stretch or extra internal width.

Measure both feet and choose length and forefoot width together, using the socks you intend to wear. The selector offers US sizes 6–15, including half sizes, and widths D, E, EE and EEE. Basket texture framed by a gold-tone horsebit

The surface pattern sets this pair apart before the hardware comes into view. Broad, interlocking rectangular shapes run across the vamp and sides, with warm brown high points and darker shading in the recesses. That contrast gives the basket pattern depth without using a separate colour panel or a brogue motif. A gold-tone horsebit spans the raised front, held by small leather tabs. Its curved rings and central bar make a rounded accent against the rectangular texture. The toe stays free of an apron seam or cap line, allowing the pattern to continue across the forepart. The dark sole edge and low heel keep the outline grounded, while the brown leather outsole and dark rubber heel top can be seen in the underside views. The exposed footbed is dark, so the upper and horsebit remain the main visual details.
